ELISSA DOYLE

 
 

Elissa Doyle is the Chief Communications Officer and Head of ESG Engagement for Third Point LLC, an SEC-registered investment manager with $14 billion in assets. As CCO and a member of the firm’s governance team, Ms. Doyle leads Third Point’s communications strategies, including coordinating the firm’s activist-shareholder campaigns. As Head of ESG Engagement, she serves as a liaison on investor stewardship issues to fellow public markets investors and is also responsible for incorporating environmental, social, and governance programs within Third Point. Ms. Doyle joined Third Point as Head of Communications in 2007 and from 2009-2019 was also responsible for leading the firm’s Investor Relations and Marketing efforts.

Before coming to Third Point, Ms. Doyle was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, specializing in complex securities litigation. Prior to Skadden, she was a reporter for Newsweek and Bloomberg News. In 2009, Ms. Doyle worked alongside the Obama Administration’s Transition Team on the confirmation process for the chairman of a major financial regulatory agency. Ms. Doyle graduated with a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2002, and earned a B.A. cum laude from Princeton University in 1998.

Elissa is a member of the Leadership Council of Robin Hood, New York City’s leading poverty-fighting non-profit, where she focuses on early childhood education initiatives. She is also a member of Leadership Now Project, an organization of centrist business leaders dedicated to preserving and protecting our democracy.
