Congressman Josh Riley represents New York’s 19th District. A fifth-generation Upstate New Yorker, he has served in public and private legal roles, including staff positions for Rep. Maurice Hinchey, policy analysis at the U.S. Department of Labor, a clerkship on the Ninth Circuit, and general counsel to Sen. Al Franken on the Judiciary Committee. In private practice, he worked at Boies Schiller Flexner and Jenner & Block. Josh earned a bachelor’s degree from William & Mary and a J.D. from Harvard. He focuses on lowering costs, rebuilding infrastructure, and protecting democratic norms with practical, bipartisan solutions.
