By accessing or using our Site, you agree to these Terms and any terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Site.

2. Consent to Use of Data and Mobile Communication; SMS Program Terms

You consent to our communicating with you about the Site and the Organization by SMS, text message, email, or other electronic means. Your carrier's normal messaging, data, and other rates and fees will apply to these communications.

If you subscribe to any text programs that the Organization makes available, the following terms apply:

By subscribing to Leadership Now Project updates or alerts, you consent to receive periodic updates or alerts by automatic text message. Text STOP to stop. For Help, text HELP or contact us at info@leadershipnowproject.org. Message and data rates may apply. See our privacy policy. Neither the Organization nor the participating carriers guarantee that messages will be delivered. The Organization may discontinue the program at any time without notice.

3. Prohibited Conduct and Content

You agree not to violate any law or third-party rights, or misuse the Site. Prohibited conduct includes (but is not limited to):

  • Harassment or threats

  • Impersonation or misrepresentation

  • Unauthorized use of another account

  • Commercial use without permission

  • Site disruption or overloading

  • Reverse engineering or scraping

  • Sending spam or malicious content

You may only post User Content that is lawful, respectful, and yours to share. Leadership Now Project reserves the right to enforce this section at its sole discretion.

4. Ownership; Limited License

The Site and its content are owned by the Organization or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, noncommercial use. All other use is prohibited without prior written consent.

5. Trademarks

Leadership Now Project, our logos, slogans, and visual design are trademarks of the Organization. You may not use them without written permission. Other marks remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Feedback

By submitting any feedback, you grant Leadership Now Project a right to use it without restriction or compensation. You understand your feedback may be treated as nonconfidential.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy; Copyright Complaints

In accordance with the DMCA, we may terminate users who repeatedly infringe others' intellectual property rights. To report a violation, contact:

9. Third-Party Content, Products, and Sites

We may include or link to third-party content. Leadership Now Project is not responsible for third-party content and disclaims all liability arising from your use of it.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leadership Now Project and its officers, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your content or feedback

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement on others’ rights

  • Your misconduct on the Site

We reserve the right to control the defense of any such claims.

11. Disclaimers

Use of the Site is at your own risk. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Site is error-free or secure.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leadership Now Project and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the greater of $5 or the amount you paid us (if any).

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington D.C., excluding conflicts of law principles. Disputes must be resolved in state or federal courts located in Washington D.C.

14. Modifying and Terminating Our Site

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We are not responsible for loss due to such changes. You may stop using the Site at any time.

15. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.

16. Miscellaneous

Failure to enforce a right does not waive it. These Terms do not create third-party rights. Communications between you and us may be electronic and have the same legal force as written documents.
