Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet represents Michigan’s 8th District. Before Congress, she served in the Michigan Senate and held leadership roles in education and child development, including as Executive Director of Michigan Head Start and Vice President at the Skillman Foundation. In the House, she serves on the Agriculture and Transportation & Infrastructure Committees and was elected Freshman Leadership Representative for the New Democrat Coalition. Kristen’s work focuses on family economic security, workforce readiness, and community resilience.
