Deepak Malhotra's teaching, research and advisory work is focused on negotiation, deal-making and conflict resolution. Deepak is the faculty chair of Harvard Business School’s flagship executive education course (the Owner President Management program), and he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. Deepak has won numerous awards for his teaching and research, including the HBS Faculty Award. In 2020, he was named MBA Professor of the Year (worldwide) by Poets & Quants. Deepak is the author of four award-winning books, including Negotiation Genius (with Max Bazerman), and Negotiating the Impossible. His most recent book, The Peacemaker’s Code, won the National Indie Excellence Award for Best Science Fiction Novel. Deepak’s professional activities include training, consulting, and advisory work in the areas of negotiation, dealmaking, and conflict resolution for firms across the globe. His advisory work with policymakers focuses primarily on helping governments negotiate an end to armed conflicts.
